Goals
Referring to the objectives of secondary education and the mission of At-Tibyan Islamic Boarding School, the educational goals of Ponpes At-Tibyan are as follows:
1. To instill faith and piety in Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala
2. To provide mastery of Islamic sciences (‘ilm syar’i) and both spoken and written Arabic
3. To foster leadership with Islamic character and a strong sense of nationalism and patriotism for religion and country.
4. To build high motivation and commitment to achieving excellence
5. To develop social, cultural, and leadership sensitivity.
6. To cultivate high discipline, self-confidence, and responsibility.
7. To nurture a strong mindset and noble character.
8. To realize the goals of national education as stated in the Indonesian National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003, Chapter II, Article 3, which reads:
National education functions to develop capabilities and shape the character and civilization of a dignified nation in order to educate the nation’s life. It aims to develop students’ potential to become individuals who are faithful and devoted to God Almighty, possess noble character, are healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become democratic and responsible citizens.
